Alice Kaltinick's Obituary
Alice Kaltinick 1933-2024 passed away peacefully in Gig Harbor, Washington on March 27th, 2024. She was born in Brooklyn, New York.
Alice is survived by her husband Paul R. Kaltinick, of seventy years, daughters Vera Kaltinick (Tom Peterson), Margie Franzheim (Harry), Pam Fillo (Chris), grandchildren Tyler Franzheim, Aaron Franzheim, Benny Fillo, Henry Fillo and Lily Kaltinick.
Alice enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, entertaining, knitting, art collecting and boating on Puget Sound. Alice dedicated her time and passion to many organizations, including the Tacoma Art Museum where she served as a board president. She also served as president of the Tacoma Actors Guild. In her final years she volunteered with the Knit for Life Foundation at Saint Anthony's Hospital. Alice knit hats prolifically for cancer patients, including finishing her final hat the day before her passing.
