Alice was born in Mayville, N.D. to Abraham and Helga (Wold) Hjelmen and passed away December 9, 2009 in Tacoma, WA. She was preceded in death by husband of 55 years, Prentice B. Holter. Alice is survived by son Gerald (Marlene), grandchildren Scott, Mark, Michele, Joel, Josh, son Michael (Sandy), grandchildren Marcella, Jerry, Rachel and 12 great grandchildren, niece Joanne (Mike) Pederson. Mom enjoyed her retirement after 25 years at Nalley's, Alice and Prentice retired to Sunny, Ca. and Az. - in the winter. Love you, Mom, Michael and Gerald. Memorial service will be held 3pm, 12/20/09 in the chapel at Tacoma Lutheran Home.
