Alfredo F. Matias' Obituary
Alfredo F. Matias, 82, of Lakewood WA, went with the angels to be with our Heavenly Father on December 27, 2016. Born in Manila, Philippines on April 25th 1934, Alfredo was a career military man and continued working for the Armed Forces Exchange Services until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church and proud member of the Democratic Party. He loved all things military, reading about history, and spending time with his beloved grandkids.
He is survived by his spouse , Ofelia Matias; sister, Flor; sons, Israel and Manny; daughter, Maribeth; grandchildren, Gavin, Jaxson, and Zachary.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 31th at 10:00AM at Mountain View Memorial Park (Aspen Chapel - Celebration of Life Building). Graveside proceeding at approximately 11:30 am at the Garden of Honor.
A viewing is scheduled from 1-7PM on Thursday, December 29th 2016. Refreshments will be available.
