Alfred Paterson's Obituary
Alfred Paterson passed away December 23rd, 2008, age 92, at his home in Bellevue, WA. Born December 11, 1916 in Edinburgh, Scotland, Alfred served with honor during World War II as a US Army medic in Europe. He worked 35 years for the federal government. His beloved wife Ruth of 60 years, who passed in 1998, precedes Alfred in death. Alfred is survived by his sister Margaret (Pearl) Ellefsen of Wausau, WI; daughter Barbara Paterson of Redmond, WA and son Douglas Paterson (Nancy) of Centennial, CO; grandchildren Brenda Guiranovitch (Duane), Ryan Paterson (Amy), Bradley Paterson, and Brian Willis (Katrina Radalet); great-grandchild Jordan, son of Brian and Katrina; many favorite nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17th at 2pm at Rose Hill Presbyterian Church, 12202 NE 90th St., Kirkland, WA, 98033. Interment January 2nd, 2009, Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood, WA.
