Alfred Estabrook's Obituary
Alfred Louis Estabrook, age 92, of Tacoma, WA, passed away on August 6, 2021.
Al was first and foremost a family man. He served his country in the armed forces, loved adventure, fishing, hunting, gardening, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.He worked at the railroad, St. Regis, and retired from City Delivery in 1995.
Al was born May 8, 1929 at home in Tacoma, WA to Louis Estabrook and Martha (Chickovich) Estabrook.He married the love of his life Shirley (Hadaller) Estabrook on February 2, 1957 in Mossyrock, WA.
He is survived by two sisters, Betty (Estabrook) Ockfen and Mary Lou (Estabrook) Beyers; three sons, Michael (Gail) Estabrook, Daniel (Robin) Estabrook, Lew (Paula) Estabrook; two daughters, Nanci (Dale) Ubben and Patti (Ron) Bullatt, and 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Please join us in celebrating his life at a Visitation Church Mass, 3314 S. 58th St., Tacoma, WA on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 8:45 am, interment to follow at 10:30 am, Mountain View Cemetery, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 19 at 7 pm at Visitation Church.
