Alexander Cabigting's Obituary
Born Jan. 25, 1949 in Victoria, Tarloc, Philippines, -Å"Alex,- 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2012, surrounded by his family at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma.
Alex served honorably as a sergeant in the U.S. Army for 12 years and lived in Tacoma, his home for 18 years. Alex attended high school and finished his college degree as an IBM computer major in cobol. Alex was a man of strong faith who lived by the love of God every day. He was a loving and a kind father.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Jorge Chaves and all the doctors and staff of St. Joseph Hospital in the intensive care unit for the excellent care that was provided for Alex. The family also thanks all of the many friends and relatives who visited, and Fr. Michael Durka, who prayed with and for them during Alex's journey into Eternal Life.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM-8:00 PM on Thursday, Oct. 11, Friday, Oct. 12, and Saturday, Oct. 13 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 in the Aspen Chapel, Mountain View Celebration of Life Center.
