Alex Anthony Haley was born February 19, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois. Alex passed away March 7, 2017 in Lakewood, Washington. Alex Anthony Haley was the eldest son of Marion Alex Haley (father), and Vanessa Arlease Haley (Mother).
Alex was a loving, compassionate, hardworking, and respectful young man. Alex loved nature and celebrating life. Alex was preceded in death by grandmother Clementine Haley; grandmother Sandra Taylor; grandfather Willie Taylor; great grandmother Lillie Mae Williams; Georgina P. Hollenshade; great grandfather Andrew Williams, and many aunts and uncles.
Alex is survived by his mother Vanessa Arlease Haley; father Marion Alex Haley; brother Mario Nook K.T. Haley, Andrew Shawn Haley; sister-in-law Kristen Aidan Haley; nieces Juliamarie Haley, Jaydarose Haley, Jezamyne Haley, Shanice Haley, Janiah Haley; nephews Jeovahnie Haley, Jasario Haley; grandfather Andrew David Haley; great aunt Jean Williams; aunts China Haley, Juliann Taylor, Dannette Taylor; uncles Myron Anthony Haley, Andre Haley, William Taylor, god mother Cassandra Williams, and a host of cousins, and friends.
