To Kathie and her family,
May the warm memories of the past grant you peace and serenity today and in the future. God Bless!

I knew Aldo Vettori from the time
I was a little girl (over four decades ago), and he was a
colleague of my father, Frank T.
Reid at Westin Hotels. He would
always take time to treat me like
a person when I would visit the executive offices...one of the few people (aside from Dad) in those slightly intimidating surroundings I felt comfortable visiting! His friendliness and sense of humor endeared him to the child me, and continued to do so down the years. I was privileged to know
him and Dorothy for the rest of their lives, and remain ever grateful for that. I only wish life had been kinder to
us all and made more frequent
visiting possible. But the blessing remains - that sense of
having shared a special bond of
loving friendship. Aldo and I often talked of the "Western International" days...and my father. It was so nice to know someone who remembered, and cared
so deeply. With his passing, I feel the loss of one of the last precious threads to my childhood. I like to think of Dad and Aldo laughing over old times
since meeting up in Heaven.
Blessings to Kathie, for the great
spirit she is.
My love,
Mindi Reid##imported-begin##Mindi Reid##imported-end##

We enjoyed Mrs Vettori and all of the Doxies over the years, as we delivered Fuller Brush/Watkins products to their home. When we missed Mrs Vettori and wondered where she moved, we received a call one day, from an elderly man asking for a person by a name we didn't recognize. Upon trying to help him, we found out that it was Mr Vettori, trying to read the phone list, and had mistakenly dialed the Fuller Brushman's number, one number off from his intended friend. We were so glad to hear some news about them both, and received several more 'wrong phone calls', keeping us in touch. Thanks for many good memories about very nice people.##imported-begin##Mr & Mrs Carl Christensen##imported-end##
Thank you so much to everyone who was able to attend Al's service and burial yesterday. Special thanks to American Legion Post 239 and the others for their honor guard service at Tahoma National Cemetery and to Mountain View for their caring, considerate and coordinated services. Thanks too for the support, friendship and love you all provided to Al, to me and to his family throughout this difficult time. Peace and Joy to you all.
