Alda worked with my mother, Charlene Jackson, at Cascadia the old juvenile detention facility. Mom and I have found memories of her. She was a dear sweet lady. I used to visit mom at work and we went to Alda's home several time throughout the years at her home in Parkland. She always greeted us with a smile and the visits were always so pleasant.
To Holly and the rest of your family--I was sorry to read of Alda's death--so glad to see she lived a long, full life. When I move into the Bluffs in 2009, Alda was the first to greet me; when she left a tin of homemade cookies for me at Christmas, it made me feel I'd picked the right place! Looked forward to it every year after. Rest well Alda, and thanks for everything!
