Albert W. HassellAlbert W. Hassell of Tacoma, WA, formally from Batavia, IL passed away February 22, 2003. He was born October 14, 1921. Son of Elva Ballard Kalje and Alden Hassell. Survivors include, daughter Roberta Calderon of Puyallup, WA, son John Hassell & wife, granddaughter Margarite and grand son-in law Michael Hatter of Tacoma, WA, grandson Raymond Calderon and wife Bryttani Calderon of Graham, WA and his pride & joy, his first great grandson Kaelin Calderon, sister Arlene Butter & brother Bernard Hassell both of Aurora, IL, also several nieces & nephews. Mr. Hassell was preceded by his parents, twin brother Robert W. and sister Lorraine Nicholson.Albert served in the US Army for 24 years, he was a veteran of WW II, Korean War and Vietnam War, He was a long time member of the Veterans Of Foreign Wars in Batavia, ILOur love, prayers and memories will always be with you.Visitation will be Monday, February 24, 2003 from 2 to 9 PM at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, 2003 at 2 PM in the Garden Chapel, Mountain View Funeral Home.
