Albert T. Lauer's Obituary
Albert Truman Lauer Tacoma has been home since 1974, after serving 22 years in the United States Air Force. Al was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1932. He joined the AF after attending Sycracuse University. After retiring from the AF he attended NW Baptist Seminary and was a hospital chaplain in Tacoma hospitals, as well as serving the State Patrol. Al is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janet, daughters Cindy (Frederick) of Bremerton and Cheryl (Peirson) of Tacoma, and sons Evan of Encinitas, CA and Eric of Gig Harbor. Al had 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church January 14th, 2012 at 2 pm.
