Albert Jones' Obituary
Albert Jones was born in Fairfield, Alabama on December 7, 1935 to Carrie Marks and Henry Jones, both preceded him in death. Albert entered into the Military in 1955, where he achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class. While in service he served tours in Korea and Vietnam. Upon leaving the Military in 1975, after twenty years of service, he began working at Boeing until his retirement in 1995.Albert was dedicated, faithful and loyal to the Â"Arthur Ury" Lodge #73 where he served as treasurer and Past Master and also a member of Willie K. Jennings # 6. Albert served as Past Worthy Joshua and Deputy Grand Joshua in the Prince Hall Grand High Court.Albert and his loving wife, Willie Lee met in Birmingham, Alabama. They were united and spent forty-three years of married life together- His wife proudly says that he was a dedicated husband. To this union was born one daughter, Kathleen, who was the apple of her daddyÂ's eyes. Affectionately called Â"PumpkinÂ". The family remembers his love for cooking, especially Thanksgiving dinner, along with this specialty of steak and ribs. He also loved to fish.Albert leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Willie Lee Jones of Tacoma, Washington; daughter, Kathleen Jones of Seattle, Washington; brother Carl Jones of Detroit MI; sister Mrs. Marlene Sinmions of Cleveland, Ohio; nieces, Jacqueline Ann Oree of Carson, CA, Lisa Oree of Newman, GA, Annette Jackson of Senora, GA, Carrie Jones of Raleigh, North Carolina, Lettiua Oree of Phoenix, Alabama; nephew:, Donald Oree of Senora, GA; cousin, Edward B. Marks of Brunswick, GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Evelyn Pugh; niece, Patricia Pugh; sister-in-law, Marie Oree of Senora, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at Mt. View Funeral Home from 11AM-6PM. A Masonic service will be held at 7pm that evening. Services will be on Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at 1:00PM in the Mt. View Valley Chapel.
