Alan Wheeler's Obituary
Alan Wheeler was born January 28, 1924, and passed away July 16, 2005, in Tacoma, WA. He taught Electronics at Bates Technical College for 27 years. He was active as a Sea Scout Skipper and Boy Scout Leader, and enjoyed singing bass in a Tacoma Totemaires quartet.Alan is survived by his wife of 58 years, Aileen; his sons Michael, Steven (Lisbeth), and Glen (Cynthia); his daughter Roxanne (Donald) Layton; 23 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Alan left a legacy of love to be enjoyed by his family for years to come.A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday July 20, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday July 21, 2005, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 7520 25th Ave E, Tacoma, WA.
