Alan Rodney "Big Al" Green's Obituary
Alan Rodney “Big Al” Green, 49, passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2014 in Fife, WA. He was born on February 4, 1965 in Tacoma, WA to Ellsworth Chester and Nancy Anne (Kienast) Green.
Al graduated from a Tacoma Christian School and went on to complete his education at Clover Park Culinary Art School. He was presently working as a Longshoreman for the Port of Tacoma where he has been employed for many years.
Al was a member of the Longshoreman Local #23. He loved being in the company of family, Union Brothers and friends. He also was very fond of being a social, gentleman. he loved family get together's and cooking for his beloved family.
He is survived by his best friend and mother to his beautiful children Susie Burgett; children Joshua, Jonathan, Jessica, Jolena and Jennifer; sisters Sheryl Green and Marianne Green. Al was preceded in death by his parents and brother Paul.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm, Friday, December 12, 2014 at Mountain View Funeral Home’s Celebration of Life Center Aspen Chapel.
