Agnes Ruby Perkuhn's Obituary
On April 4, 2015 our Mother, Grandmother, and friend went peacefully to spend Easter with her Lord. She was born in Zurich Montana on Nov. 6, l9l9 to James and Josephine Olson, and grew up in Southam, No. Dakota. She married Walter Perkuhn on Oct. 3, l937and they moved to Tacoma in 1940, settling in Parkland in l941. After her family was grown she completed her education receiving an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and worked in that field until her retirement. She is survived by her children Diane (Reynoir) Peterson, Rodney (Cathleen) Perkuhn and Loris (Earl) Kasner, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, a sister, Georgina Burlingame and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Charlotte, son Neil, 7 brothers and 1 sister. Services on Saturday April 11th, Graveside at Mt. View Cemetery at 12:30pm, Memorial at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 56th & East “B” at 2pm. Donations may be made to Tacoma Rescue Mission, Salvation Army or Seattle Children’s Hospital.
