Adriana Vittoria Munoz's Obituary
Born: April 19th, 1941, Passed into Gods arms January 7th 2023
Adriana was born in Pisa, Italy to Alvaro Dini and Dilva Morelli Dini just blocks from the leaning tower. She was the loving wife of Louis Muñoz.
Following is a snapshot of the woman we loved & were blessed to call our Mom. For us its hard to see her as anyone else. Imagine your first memory is of War. Imagine an 8-year-old girl working in a factory to care for her family. Imagine a young teenage stunt woman, actress and model, all before the age of 17. Imagine marrying a young American Airforce man and having 6 boys, all before the age of 28. That was our Mom.
Adriana married the love of her life Louis Muñoz on June 30th 1957, a marriage that lasted more than 53 years. Anna was an actress in Italian film, a community activist, an advocate for police & firefighters to assure community safety as well as a seamstress. Anna helped runaway teens and assisted in missing children searches. She started & managed the Baker Community Center through her work with the South End Concerned Citizens group, which she founded. She truly loved America and wanted to make Tacoma a better place for her kids and her community. In our eyes and the eyes of many in our community she was a hero. Anna was a Mom to all that knew her. She cared deeply and was not afraid to do what needed to be done to make things better, not just for her family, but for all families. Anna had a deep abiding faith in Christ which sustained her throughout her life. Anna was first, last and always a loving wife and mother. Mom will always be in our hearts and her love and her life will continue to inspire and guide us.
