Adrian Weldon Johnson's Obituary
Adrian Weldon Johnson was born in Detroit, MI on September 9, 1946, and peacefully passed away in Tacoma, WA on February 18, 2016, while surrounded by his closest loved ones. Adrian was widely recognized for his community service work, including sitting on the board of directors for the Living Access Support Alliance, volunteering at Project Homeless Connect events, and working as a housing specialist for the Department of Corrections, where he served 42 years as a dedicated public servant. Adrian was a Vietnam veteran and will be missed dearly. He is survived by his mother Mary Johnson, loving wife Judy, sons Adam and Michael, and grandson Miles. In lieu of flowers please send donations to lasawa.org. A celebration of life event will be held at the Oakbrook Condominiums cabana at 7425 Ruby Dr. SW, Lakewood WA 98498 on Sunday, February 28. Join us anytime between 1:00 and 6:00 pm. Street parking available on Ruby Drive and Turquoise Drive.
