One of my most enduring memories of my grandma was of her faith. As a child I spent a week almost every summer with her. Every morning when we got up, we sat at the table together and went through her morning devotion. After the devotion she would reach out and grab my sister and my hands and we would pray together. She shared a part of herself with us that I am so thankful for.
I think of her often when I get in a car, I can almost hear her cheerful, "traveling mercies Lord!" (Before she turned the engine in her car, she always said this!)
She was such an important part of my life, and will always be a special part of my memories.##imported-begin##Erin Vincent (Hashbarger)##imported-end##
