Ada Nowak's Obituary
Ada A. Nowak passed away December 23, 2010 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Tacoma, WA; she had celebrated her 97th birthday on November 16th.
Mom was the seventh of eight children born to August and Pauline Wahlbrink of St. Louis, Mo. All of Mom's siblings had preceded her in death.
Mom became a resident of Tacoma in 1953 and bought the family home in 1954. Mom retired as Tacoma Municipal Court Clerk in February, 1979 and then
donated her time as a volunteer at Tacoma General Hospital until her health no longer permitted. She is survived by sons Bill (Debbie) and George (Lisa) and
their families. If anyone wishes to make a remembrance, please consider the Tacoma Rescue Mission, Tacoma General Hospital or St. Joseph Medical Center.
Our family is grateful for Hannah, Hanan, Sara and many more of the Manor Care staff that met Mom's care requirements with wonderful kindness and
good humor. Our gratitude also to Karen Further and Chaplain Kollin Hogan of Franciscan Hospice who were generous with their time and compassion.
Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
