Aaron Achziger's Obituary
Aaron Achziger went home to God on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. At last with his beloved wife Gerry he also joins his parents Pauline and Fred Achziger and his sisters Dina Koch and Leah Thompson.
He was born first generation German in Tacoma WA on September 25 1929. A lifelong resident of Tacoma, Aaron’s life was in sales and he was loved and respected by his clients in a way that is rarely seen. He enjoyed his many years in the Daffodillains, serving a term as the organizations Sir Boss and traveling with great friends. But his true joy was his family, he will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and while we take joy in his eternal life we ache for the loss of him.
He is survived by his four daughters Judy Baker, Paula Rogers, Linda Whitaker and Janis Kilcup and their husbands and families. It was his joy to be Papa to his 9 grandchildren and Great Papa to his 10 great grand children.
The family want to especially thank the caregivers at the Weatherly, you were quite simply the best and we are forever grateful for all of you.
Dad...We love you and miss you so...
A memorial service for Aaron will be held at Fircrest United Methodist Church on Friday, September 29 at 1:00pm.
