You made me feel so welcome and at home the first time I met you. You were such a kind, caring, and wonderful person. You treated me and my youngest Kyli like we were part of the family. She loved you and love spending time with you when she was a little. Thank you for having such wonderful daughters. Shawn, you are one of my dearest friends and you have so much of the wonderful qualities that your mom passed down. Marlene, I will miss listening to your stories about your life. Marlene was like a second mom when I was growing up. Shawn and I were inseparable on the weekends! She was always so striking and beautiful, meticulously maintained. I remember watching her as she applied her makeup. I can't even guess how many times she took us shopping at the mall, a real treat for me. I was truly blessed to have known her. Rest in peace Marlene. Until we see you again.
