Mike Halliday and his wife Jan were our best friends. We meet in 1980 at a Corvette's de Olympia meeting. From the 1st moment we all met we were fast friends. We were partners in crime on so many levels.
We shared many interests from Corvette's, to Off Road Rallying, to Volunteer work for St. Martin's Alumni Association and Motorcycles.
We became part if the Halliday Family and they became part of the Jurss Family.
We love and miss you Mike. Enjoy being out of pain and with Jan now. We will see you again someday and we can continue our adventures.

I had the good fortune of working with Mike during the Walt's Radiator & Muffler days. Truly a one-of-a-kind guy who didn't know a stranger. I also helped out with some of the Corvette & High Performance swap meets, and a couple of the Pro Rally events, which were made all the more fun by Mike's presence.

Michael will be dearly missed. Our relationship began in the early 70's and continued to this day. We often joined him and Jan when they raced or showed their corvettes, eventually helping us get into the sport. I worked many weekends with them at annual swap meets.

Mike and his younger brother, Terry, were dirt bikers in the early 70s and always planned a dirt bike trip in a month that had a weird holiday. It was great fun and the reason I'm still riding today. Wish I knew he moved back to the Puget Sound.

Tom and Pat Barte send condolences to family members. The Saint Martin's Alumni Community, as well as the many community members who worked with Mike and Jan over the many years in the concession trailer and Food and Wine Festival. Too many memories and good times to put into a simple commemoration. We love you Mike and may the wind always be at your back!
