Robert Owen McCarthy, 67, died tragically Sunday, July 4, 2004 in an unexpected accident at Lawrence Lake. He was born in St. Paul, MN on June 8, 1937. He was employed for the Tacoma School District #10 as a School Patrol Officer, Read Obituary
I worked with Bob at Overall Laundry Services for about six years before moving back to Tennessee. I did not know that Bob had passed until I read this.
I enjoyed his company very much and of course he always made me laugh. I also admired him.

We can't know why something happened, but we know that love and beautiful memories outlast the pain of grief. We also know inside our hearts love lives always and those we cherish will always live in our memory.
Brother Bob was a loving husband, great father, the best grandpa, a special friend, and a truly wonderful brother at all times. We will miss him more than words can say. I'll cherish my happy memories and all the teasing my Brother Bob gave me.
I and Ken could always count on Brother Bob and Phyllis to meet us and have a great breakfast, good time, and lots of laughs at The Poodle Dog Restaurant.
