Granny, My Granny,
The ONE AND ONLY GRANNY, I allowed Daddy’s current wife to call herself Granny, and I am ashamed to have allowed her to brandish such an honorable moniker that was far from deserved. I had a son this year, 6/2/21 his name is Remale Richard for you and my Papa, Stanley Richard. How I miss you so much. We call him Mel, just like you. Love You & Miss You. I have a feeling you and my Papa chose him while God was knitting him in my womb I can see you both standing by together giving pointers and suggestions. Well he’s perfect, help me and guide me so I can be even half the mother you were I could only dream my children and grandchildren praise me like yours do you. Please help me Granny. I love you. I should have you know I finally gave up chasing my Daddy. It hurts too badly and I’m done hurting I remember you hurting because I hurt and missed him so badly. Now no more of that. Zoe is beautiful I wish you could see how beautiful inside and out she truly is. Love you.

My Granny, I miss you above and beyond belief if that's even possible. I wish you were here now or at least a phone call away. Life just isn't anything without the one person you knew for sure that was on your side whether you were right or wrong. My Granny, who loved sleeping with the window open to hear the wind and rain. My Shug, my sweet pea. My Granny, who told, taught, and showed me so much. My heart breaks everyone I need to talk to you and can't. My Granny, I love and I miss you. I'm sorry I haven't been out to see you, but I can't bear it still. I know you know where my heart is. I love you, my Granny.
