Harold & Karen Hasfjord
To Family of Mace,
We were together with Wayne and Mace in Mt. Rainier Sams, sharing many weekends together as we traveled to our monthly camping meetings. We also met in the restaurants for meetings in the colder months. I remember one meeting at restaurant and we didn't show up. It just so happened that we went out to eat and it was about 9 pm when the phone rang and it was sweet Mace concerned since we didn't make it. I said oh no,
we went out for dinner, we literally forgot and we both burst out laughing.
I also remember how when we first joined since we were 15 to 20 years younger, all wondering why we wanted to joined this group. It was because they all did what we did, games, crafts, reading and just visiting.
Remember one time we were parked so close together we could just step into each others rig.
Wayne and Mace were the ones that taught us how to play Tic and Shanghai. It was so much fun and have many memories.
Mace was a very caring person and always checked on you when didn't make some event.
We also visited each others homes playing cards and chatting away. It was one of those visits she had and electric hot pot and was able to get one for me and have had one ever since.
We have many memories to reflect back on with much joy and even laughter.
I am so sorry we cannot make the memorial service, we will be thinking of all of you and praying for God's comfort during this time.
Mt Rainier Sammers,
Harold and Karen Hasfjord
