To the family of Gladys; I remember Gladys from years ago when I worked at Madigan and she was there with her students. Later, I taught pediatric nursing at Tacoma General and was there with my students. We had many conversations and consulted each other regarding our students progress. This was during the 70's for about six years. I enjoyed knowing her and know how dedicated to nursing she was.

To the family of Gladys - We wish to extend our condolences on the loss of such a wonderful mother and grandmother. Gladys was a treasured neighbor and friend for us on Butte Terrace SW. We will miss her very much.
She was a one-person greeting committee and neighborhood watch on all of Butte Terrace. Gladys was the first person to greet us when we moved here 23 years ago and welcome us to the block. She also keep us apprised of all the significant activities in and around our homes while we were away at work. We knew we were safe with Gladys in charge.
Gladys was also a wonderful friend and neighbor who was engaged in life, always finding new activities that benefited the community. We will miss her as I know you will.

I recently had the privilege to reconnect with Ms. Gladys by being her cargeiver....what a joy! During my first visit...getting aquainted... I realized she was my Practical Nursing Instructor at Clover Park Voc-Tech...we laughed...I know that if God has anything out of place in heaven Ms. Gladys is tactfully putting it right:):)!!!
