I first met Evelyn in 1943, thru her cousin, Charlotte Grange. The three of us have been friends for 75 years, sharing the ups and downs of life. In our younger days we talked of family , friends, plans of activities together. In more recent yeas, we have shared the usual aches and pains of growing older. Evelyn was always the sunny , bright fun person, no matter what was going on. I fondly remember she would be talking about something serious and then something funny would enter her mind and she give her little laugh and brighten up the whole room. She and Char have been the sisters that I never had, I I'll miss this dear friend, more than words can say. Rest in Peace my funky friend, you will always be in my heart. Phyllis Newcombe
