We were blessed to be friends with Bobbie and Ernie (Zach and Kate) when we were first married-1969-in Lansdale, PA. As happens all too often, we lost touch, but we have never forgotten them. We purchased Ernie's book, and started "mini-seaching", and when we found this obituary, we were deeply saddened. Would so love to connect with Bobbie as we are wrapping up our earthly lives. I was very blessed the day that Ernie and Bobbie came into my path on this Earth! Thanks to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ and to Ernie for saving my life. From the day I met him he never quite on me he sacrificed a lot of his personal time to help me and I can't thank him or God enough for that I knew no matter what I could call him and he would make himself available to me he was a very unselfish person. I met Ernie when Bobbie and I worked together at Central Baptist Church in Tacoma. Ernie became a dear and close friend. He provided close personal counseling at a time in my life when I needed it. His friendship (and Bobbie's) was very much appreciated. Ernie was a very Godly man and served our Lord so completely and so successfully. He will be greatly missed, but very well remembered for the Godly and wonderful man he was. We can look forward to meeting him again in Heaven. Dear Lord be with Bobbie during this time of her loss.

Ernie was a sweet man, and such a pleasure to be around. I really regret now, not getting to hear his story, but his record in the service speaks volumes. We all really enjoyed him when he was pastor of our church and he was an inspiration to the younger members who really looked up to him.
