I am deeply saddened by your great loss and am sorry I cannot be there with you in Washington during this time of grief. I always enjoyed seeing Manong Teodoro whenever he visited California. He had so much spirit and joy, and he was always ready to debate me on just about everything--but especially the Mariners. He truly believed in the Mariners. And I think they'd be back in the pennant race if they only had half the fight that he did.
I will remember him always in my prayers. And if the Mariners get out of the cellar and make a move in the next few months, I will take it as a sign from above.
