I met Margie in 1997 working at the credit union, helping her as a member. She came in to get travelers checks for Rufus ( he was in Bosnia). I was new teller and she welcome me with her famous smile. Then in 1998 she came to be part of the credit union family. It was a joy to work with her. We had a lot of laughs and tears. She will always be in my heart. I know that is an angel watching down on me, making sure a walk a straight line with the Lord.

I can picture Margieâ€™s smile, every time we saw one another. We would sometimes talk about growing up in Alabama (Me in Opelika, Her in Fayette), Traveling, Big B & Me, and Old Southern Cooking. Eats like Sweet Potato Pie, Apple-Fritters, Fried Sweet Potatoes, Fried Okra, made us reflect back to Old Southern Food. But mostly she spoke of her Spiritualism, and her love for the Lord. May the Lord bless you always!
I first met Margie when I became a member of the American Lake Credit Union. I could see from the first moment I met her that she was a light to God's love. You know how, if you know God, you can see it in someone else without trying? I saw that in Margie. Even though our relationship was solely through the Credit Union - she changed my life forever. I aspired to share His joy through a joyous character just like Margie from that moment on. Imagine how special it is for me to have shared a photo with Margie that was included in the Credit Union newsletter - I will cherish my copy forever.

We always felt loved when we saw Margie at the Credit Union where she worked. I always knew she would have a new hair-do to complement when I saw her. Her heart for Christ was evident by her confidence entering her final time here. She often told me she enjoyed sharing the Lord with me and that meant a lot to me then and everything to me now. I am sorry for your loss. My family will miss Margie very much. Especialy my 2 year old daughter Sydney who loved Margie. She always gave a big smile for Margie when we saw her at the bank. When i told my wife the news my daughter asked "wer did Margie go?". My wife told her that Margie went to go see Jesus. My daughter Sydney then told my wife "I want to go with Margie too". This realy broke my heart cause Sydney loved Margie. She will be truly missed. But we shal meet her again in heaven when the lord calls us home and be reunited with all of our brothers and sisters in christ. May god bless your family.
