God gave us a large family to love
and share, now he is calling us
home, one at a time for us to be
together again.
Eliane and Gerry, we are thinking
about you and your family. Distance
doesn't lessen the lost.

Elaine, Dwayne and family, please know that you are loved and that many prayers continue to be offered on your behalf during this time of great loss. We have wonderful memories and God's precious promises to see us through.
Bud and Bob grew up together and shared many great adventures. Some even thought we were twins because of our closeness. We mourn with you and will continue to offer our love and prayers for you. May the Lord bless you with the riches of His grace.##imported-begin##Bob and Helen Pless##imported-end##
I always think of you when I see lilacs in bloom because of the beautiful lilacs you grew.##imported-begin##Gina Bader##imported-end##
We served together at McChord AFB. You were a good NCO and friend.##imported-begin##Joe and Ruth Behrent##imported-end##
Bud was a wonderful person, a great friend and I thought of him as a brother. He had a wonderful smile and a devilish twinkle in his eye that made you wonder what he was going to say next. He was my childrens "second" father and good friend for 36 years. We will all miss him very much, but he left us with many wonderful memories. We will see him again.##imported-begin##Dee Owen##imported-end##
There are no words for the sense of loss anyone who knew Uncle Bud feels. I didn't get the chance often enough to spend time with him, but the times I did have I'll cherish forever. The stories he told of the "old days", the many stories he told me about my dad, his brother, I'll keep forever in my heart. The visit in 2004 is one of my favorite memories...ever. What a host, what a friend, what a "buddy". Thanks for being "Uncle Bud".##imported-begin##Don and Kelly Pless##imported-end##
I had the privaledge of working with Bud for 12 and1/2 years. Bud was the type of person who was not only a good teacher in his business but was the type to encourage others as well. He also was the type of man who never thought he knew it all. He was willing to learn even from a new employee. His wife Elaine is a special lady and Anne and me would like to pass on our thoughts and prayers for Bud,Elaine and Family at this time. This is truely a great loss for this neighborhood. Bud will be missed greatly. I always looked forward to stopping and passing the time of day with Bud. He never had a bad word for anyone or anything. He was a joy!##imported-begin##Mr & Mrs George Frohmader##imported-end##
Bud (Dr. Pless),
The experiances and the knowledge that I gained while working with Bud -- simply put were/are priceless. Yet more important was his personallity and approach to everything or anything that came up.
Bud -- even after falling and riding down several stories of a large building and breaking his knees -- came away so positive - he lost his knee caps and still came away from the experience his same positive self. BUD-what a remarkable personallity and man!
He shared everything. His Airforce stories that I will be able to pass on -- about dealing with BASE Commanders and various pilots -- Stories about Asia, VN, Philippines, and snakes on planes. Sharing the experiences we had in common. So many good things...
What a golfer.
I am honored to know such a quality man.
Bud will always be remembered by all of us who knew him.
