Bonnie was a 4th cousin I belive to me, and a 3rd to my mother, Ruth Payne (Henley). I remember some of my childhood speding time on Anderson Island and spending time with that side of the family. Bonnie was truly a beautiful lady, who was loved by us all. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and loved the Lord with her whole mind and soul. I met Bonnie on the island 22yrs ago and we have been friends ever since. I loved to hear her stories about her family and the island that she loved so dearly. I love you Bonnie and will miss your terribly.

I've always been happy to be Bonnie's sister. We have been friends and companions forever. Our wish is and was that we could have lived closer together so we could be "backyard buddies" and spend more time together. We were always wishing for another visit. I miss her so much, even at this distance. I'm sorry that I didn't make it back to visit her again. I'm sure I will see her in heaven. That will be a beautiful day for both of us. My thoughts were entered (but lost)? I'll try again.Bonnie was a very Special lady and sister-in-law. She loved her little brother, Georgie and of course, he loved her. We spent a lot of quality time together here on our Island Paradise. She kept us Happy and Spoiled throughout the year with her wonderful Breads and Desserts. Our freezer was alway ladened with delicious Zucchini and Banana Bread. How could we ever forget her wonderful Breakfast Rolls, Cherry and Fruit Cheesecake and all the wonderful treats she made for us.Mostly, we will miss a special lady who has crept into all Our Hearts. I loved when my family came to Seattle and to Anderson Island and got to see Aunt Bonnie and in the earlier years Uncle George with her. She was always so loving, kind, and welcoming when we came. I have clear memories of her making strawberry waffles with whip cream, brownies, and lots of delicious treats. Her crafts were many too -- I love the seashell wreaths she made. The first time I learned about the concept of agape love was when Bonnie took me to her church on Anderson Island. The memory of that lesson has remained strong with me through the years.
