Years ago, upon thanking her for giving me a good start in life, Mom summed it up for me in a way that was typical of her unique Child Raising technique--"When you were little, I wiped your rear-end for you when you needed it. As you got older, I kicked it for you when you needed it."
Thanks Again Mom

Mrs. B one-of-a-kind...
Fell off her bicycle in slow motion.
Always had a house key when I forgot mine.
Never told my mom and dad about my kegger party.
Took us swimming at the apartment pool.
Made me feel that my sons are treasures.
Wrote me back when I wrote her about the deep things of life.
Asked how I was and really cared.
Saw my family through all our growing up years.
She loved our family and we loved her.
Love,

Dear Janet:
I was so sorry to read of your mother's death! I know how difficult this time must be for you all. I remember spending so much time at your home and having such a good time! I know this must sound really funny but I was totally bowled over when she redecorated the house and you got such an awesome room out of it! I have to admit I was just a little bit (well, really a lot) jealous! Your mom always made me feel welcome and I remember her with much fondness!
Love,

"Hey Peg, the blackberries are ripe, are you coming to visit?."
"Oh, Hah!"
"I tried to raise him right" :-)
"I need someone to pick the apples."
"Are the smoke trees in bloom?" "Have you seen the desert flowers?"
"How can I help?"
"Chocolate?"
"Fruit? Yuck!"
How many ways are there to play solitare.
Betty was the best mother-in-law, her loss is immeasurable. I will miss her so much.##imported-begin##Peggy Hayden##imported-end##

Dear Pam, Janet, James, Deann, Kevin and Catherine,
I so enjoyed the visits that I had with Betty. She was a bright and vibrant woman that appeared to enjoy life to the fullest. I especially loved the way she smiled, it lit up her whole face and also the way she giggled at Sam's antics. I am thankful that Taylor and Sam will be able to remember her and the joy she brought into their lives. May you draw comfort from the good memories.

Great neighbor, friend and part of family. Naming flowers on walks in the woods. Playing the ukulele, singing and serving coffee nudges in the snow. Convincing us our kids were still good even when they did something bad. Loving our dogs as her own. Bringing Portugese soup when we were sick. Guarding the house when we were out. Loan anything at any time. Kind and generous and loving beautiful things. We miss you so much.##imported-begin##Fred and Joan Delvecchio##imported-end##
