I remember Mindy’s warm, bright smile and her wonderful cooking. She had such a welcoming presence and a way of making people feel comfortable and cared for around her. I was especially privileged to indulge in her own recipe of paella one Christmas Eve. The meal was beautiful, full of warmth, flavor, and the feeling of togetherness between family and friends that she created so naturally. What stays with me most is the kindness and joy she brought to others through the simple but meaningful things — sharing food, conversation, laughter, and fellowship. Mindy had a genuine warmth that touched others, and I will always remember her.
