My family attended Wenatchee Valley Baptist when I was a kid and to this day Brother Buddy is my favorite pastor. I went down front after one of his sermons when I was in grade school. He gave me my first bible with Proverbs 3:5-7 written on the inner cover. Our family (Tom and Helen Oliver (grandparents), Jeannine Olivier (my mom), and my sister Heather and I all loved Brother Buddy and had good memories of him. My grandparents and sister are passed now and mom has dementia, so I sometimes tell her stories about what I remember from those days and decided to look up what had happened. It’s been 20 years, but I am sure Bro. Buddy is still missed. I am so glad I found this memory wall. I can share it with Mom. Thank you for keeping it up. Rachel.

Trish and family,

I met Buddy and Trish when our family first started attending PFBC. They welcomed us into their home and cooked us fish for dinner. Throughout the years and many bad choices on my part they continued to pray for me and reach out to me. Their continued love and that of my family enabled me to choose to become a Christian.
I fondly remember Buddy and Trish cutting it up on the dance floor at my wedding. Buddy always had kind things to say to me and I am honored to have known him. I am thankful for the friendship they have shared with my folks over the years. I will never forget all of the stories he told at church and how you can incorporate laughter into a relationship with God. My prayers go out to the family at this time. I first met Buddy when he took a call to Wenatchee Valley. He had pastored in Drumright,Ok where my Uncle Carl Turner lived. My Uncle called to say I just had to hear this pastor because he was the greatest. Well I went and he was right. It was a blessing. My Uncle and Buddy were very close and I am sure Carl said.
