Wanda Deane Webster
April 6, 1933 - June 6, 2022
Wanda D. Webster passed peacefully in her sleep on June 6, 2022, from complications from Parkinson’s Disease. Wanda was born in Gilliam, Missouri and dedicated her life to being a devoted wife and mother to her four children and three stepchildren. She also worked as a Dietician at the VA Medical Hospital in Lakewood, WA. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and siblings as well as her sons Steven Haynie and Ray Haynie. Wanda is survived by her husband Jerry Webster, son Sean Haynie, daughter Kimberly Haynie, stepsons Daniel (Molly) Webster, Martin (Ann) Webster and Robert (Tammy) Webster as well as 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Wanda loved to crochet and do craft projects for family and friends. As Parkinson’s disease set in, she missed not being able to share her talent but for those of us who received items she made, they will be cherished. Wanda had a deep faith. When she knew the time was nearing, she shared with family what readings and hymns were important to her and she wanted to make sure that her husband Jerry, who she loved unconditionally would be taken care of, always putting others before herself. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Michael J Fox Foundation in Wanda’s name. PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or online at www.michaeljfox.org
