What shocking news. Dr Tollefson was my dentist for many years. Back in the days of Sabra (a dear friend), and Pam working for the doctor. I became very fond of Pam and Dr Tollefson during those years.
My heart is broken for his family and I consider Pam as part of his family. I am so very sorry for your loss❣️
He was such a good and talented man in so many ways. He will be missed by so many. Rest in peace doctor. Gone but not forgotten.

Marc and I met in confirmation class at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tacoma and became fast friends. Through high school we both gravitated to the idea that we should become dentists. We became roommates at the University of Washington and muddled through the pre-dental program there. Eventually Marc went to Case Western Reserve in Cleveland and I went to Penn in Philadelphia. Our dental careers were launched. Although our paths went in separate directions, we stayed in contact through the years... always having a great conversation on each other's birthdays on the phone. Some of my favorite memories of Marc were listening to him beautifully play Chopin etudes on the piano... I was very jealous of his piano skills and found I could never emulate them on my accordion!... and later I was also jealous of his skills at placing gold foil restorations in teeth... an amazing talent that has been displaced by modern technology. I think he was even the president of the national gold foil society! Kudos Marc! I miss you already and wish I could have that conversation with you coming up on your birthday on 7/7! R. I. P.
