Kenneth R. Miller of Lakewood, Washington passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the age of 81 while in the loving company of his wife, Sharon. Ken was born in Tacoma on May 14, 1940 to Raymond and Dorothy Miller. He married the love of his life, Sharon, on November 16, 1963 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and together, they raised two children. A skilled and talented electrician for over 30 years with IBEW Local 76, Ken worked on multiple job sites in Washington, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii that included the construction of the Twin Towers and the Valdez pipeline in the mid-1970’s. Ken enjoyed fishing with friends, fixing up his Jeep, or cooking up a good meal for family to enjoy. He was well-known for his teasing sense of humor, great story telling, and ability to bring a smile and laughter to everyone who met him. Having resided in Kauai, Hawaii for several years, Ken lived and shared the Aloha Spirit with all. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, his son Doug (+Dionne), daughter Christina (Gerald), and two grandsons Nick and Curtis. Ken was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by family and friends. In Ken’s memory, family and friends are asked to perform a random act of kindness, bringing a smile or laughter to those they meet.
