Joshua Jelani Bonds Sr.

Joshua was born January 9, 1978 to Oscar and Arletta Bonds Jr. He leaves behind sons: Joshua Jr. (Megan), Elijah (Jayla), Stepsons Andrell and Eric. The apple of his eye, his daughter Jade. Brothers Kevin, Lorenzo, Emmanuel. Sisters True and Vicky. Granddaughters Maliya and Melani. His finance Angie Swinson and many friends. Also an extended family of many Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews, and Nieces. Joshua is proceeded in death by his granddaughter Egypt, sister Lisa, Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Bonds Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Green Sr., and other relatives. Joshua was an independent businessman. He was also employed by Associated Ministries and The Law Firm of Monte Hester and Associates. Joshua was the type of son that every parent would love to have. He was a great father and grandfather. His personality was contagious, he was loving, caring, friendly, and always had a positive attitude. A great soul to all mankind. If you had the opportunity to meet Josh he would leave an everlasting impression, he was not biased in any form or fashion. Joshua gave his mother and father the utmost respect, uplifting thoughts of love, belief, and gratitude that a son could share with his parents. He would always end every conversation with “I Love You” as he did the last time he spoke to his parents. “I, Josh am on a journey to reunite with all my loved ones… my angels, who have gone before me. The path we all must take.
