InMin Strickland

InMin Kim Strickland was born in Seoul, Korea in 1929 to Kim, Eung Bae and Lee, Bong Soon. One of seven children, she lived an extraordinary life demonstrated by her courage, resiliency, intellect and kindness. She is preceded in death by her husband Willie P. Strickland. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Strickland (Patrick J. Erwin), her brother Moon Kyung Kim, and an extended family spanning generations. A dedicated mother, wife, sister, aunt and Christian, she was tirelessly took care of others while deeply committed to her church and community. She loved sports, music, K-dramas, learning about people and cultures around the world, and spending time outdoors enjoying nature or working in the garden. A master cook, she enjoyed preparing and eating food. Serious but playful. Kind but firm. Traditional but modern. InMin Kim Strickland’s mark on a this world will endure far beyond her 93 years on this earth. She will be missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
