Hildegard Dixon

May 29, 1929 - November 12, 2021

My beloved mother, Hildegard Dixon, passed away November 12, 2021 at the great age of 92 with her family at her side. She lived a life well lived with traveling and hosting parties at her beautiful home. Holidays were always celebrated in her home which was beautifully decorated for the occasion and the delicious Christmas Dinner was beautifully decked out. My husband Roger would always dress up as Santa and everyone got to sit on his knee and have their picture taken with him. Easter was also celebrated in her large yard where she would hide the Easter eggs herself so that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren would fill their baskets with various goodies. My mother was a voracious reader evidenced with the large collection of books in her library. She was stylish, generous, as well as charismatic with a great sense of humor. She would brighten a room with her great smile and with the stories of her life and travels. She also knew great sorrow in her life being a widow at the age of 45 as my father, Eugene Dixon, died at the early age of 48. But also knew love again by marrying Donald Beebe at the age of 68, yet again a widow at 75! She is survived by her daughter Karin, four grandchildren Roger Jr. (Edit), Chris (Rita), Gena (Chris), and Peter (Brooke) and nine great-grandchildren Jordan(Melissa), Alex, Nick, Daniel, Ashlyn, Andras, Aron, Connor and Ryan as well as nieces and nephews and many friends here and overseas. My mother leaves behind a hole in our world, we will miss her but she will never be forgotten. A loving mother is a profound blessing! She will be interred at Mountain View with her husband Eugene Dixon.
