There is so much to write--such difficult news. Here, I'll just state for the record that Dave did considerable volunteer dentistry for those in need, and was incredibly generous with his time and expertise. We deeply admired care for others, and his love of the natural world. And we are grateful for his service to Bate sand the wider community.
