To the Dearly Loved Pollocks, I am so sorry for you all for the loss of your wonderful husband/father, and to the church family for the loss of their beloved shepherd. While my heart breaks for you all to carry on without your husband/father, my heart rejoices that your Daddy is in heaven, and that the current separation is "only" temporary. The next time you see your Daddy, he will be stronger and healthier than you ever saw him before! And he will be smiling from ear-to-ear to see each one of you again, so continue to walk in the Truth! While the current separation is painful (especially in this sin-filled world), you will all do your best to care for your Momma as your Daddy would have wished for you to, and continue the legacy that your Father began, by continuing to live a life of love and service for Jesus. I would like to express my condolences to the family of Bryan Pollock, a devoted husband and father. I'm so sorry for your loss. To lose someone we love in death is extremely difficult. We do miss that special time together.
I lost my mother to the battle of cancer at a very young age. To gain comfort, God's Holy Word the Bible was of tremendous help to me, as I'm sure it is to you. My favorite scripture when thinking of our loved ones who have passed away is John 5:28, 29. Jesus said, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life." What a beautiful source of comfort.

We only met Bryan once, when he came to our home to discuss a matter of importance to our churches. Our brief encounter left us with the impression that he was a Christian gentleman and a faithful pastor.
