Mrs. Lawrence was the ISS Supervisor at my school, hudtloff and I was sent there a lot of times. She always kept it honest with me and was an integral piece in my life. I now lead youth ministry and always remember this woman as a light in my dark seasons. She was and is a legend and I am forever grateful for her life.

Phennus was like a aunt to me I remember back in 1st grade when I first met her she took ma and my mother out to lunch and I got to learn about my mom and her friendship later on in life she would help with school showing me her teaching skills to help me both read, write, and do math I remember always going to seahawk training camp with her every summer and getting to meet players and just to be around the Seahawks.phennus also gave me life skill that now In the present I use such as how to use my money smartly and what too look for before I apply for a job.sadly phennus will not get to see me graduate I’m person but I know from heaven she will be cheering me on louder than anyone❤️🩹
Our friendship has lasted years since junior high. We lost connection but when reunited almost 10 years ago we made the most of the time. From traveling for long weekends to going out and doing our favorite thing eating out, we made many memories. . My son had the best times with her at Seahawk camp and looked for her to help guide him. I will always be grateful we reconnected when we did and will cherish the memories. She gave more than she took and lived her best life until the end. She will always be in our hearts.

Thank you PL for the good times @ Lakes HS bus/school, I’m so glad you and Linda both were able to visit here @ the Library and ya’ll were able to view maps/photos of your hometown OPP, ALA as fellow history buffs (I work with maps and I always run into maps of OPP, ALA and think of Phennus/I used to tease her… you down w/O P P ???) and for inviting me to OPP during Thanksgiving. You were right the food was the BEST!!! FOOD, FAMILY, FAITH and FOOTBALL…
They got me w/the fire water ya'll....fell asleep and missed the Iron Bowl...I was talking smack too - Everybody was ROLL TIDE except TWO COUSINS and I WERE WAR EAGLE...PL's fam talked about me the rest of the time I was there...LOLOLOL I'm crying/laughing just thinking about it...
It was THE best time, the deep conversations about Education, the smack talking about Football, the delicious meals and hanging out w/your AMAZING Family…endless memories filled w/laughter and smiles.
I too will miss PL with her infectious laughter, big smiles, big heart, deep conversations, amazing friendship and love of life!!!

If I learned anything from Phennus it is to always possess positivity, eliminate negativity and LOVE LIFE. In honor of this my dear friend, I will try my hardest to uphold your philosophy of life! I will celebrate you always!! Most of all, I will cherish our memories. Right now I am remembering how you crack up laughing . I can see your gigantic smile and amazingly there is little to no noise that comes out. But your whole face lights up like a beacon!! That smile!! It’s so infectious!! This thought brings a smile to my face, and so much gratitude that you were a part of my life. I will try not to be sadden by you going home and be happy that you are at peace. Phennus and Tina was like two peas in a pod. Grew up next door to each other. She was more of a Lil sister than a cousin. When they were 6 they got into something that they thought was chocolate candy, but wasn't(you know what I mean). LOL. Phennus was pooping and crying for 2 days, Tina did not get affected at all.... Great time as a Kid!!! Will miss you greatly cuz...

Phennus fit the role of big sister and little momma so well. Intuitive and wise—nothing slipped passed her easily. She had so much and shared it so openly. God blessed us with a special person in Phennus. She got all of that from a set of extraordinary parents. God bless and keep you, Momma Linda.
