I’m sorry I couldn’t make it to Nelly’s memorial today. Nelly was one of the first women I met when I joined the TCGC nine hole golf group. I played with her for several years. She told amazing stories about her early life in, and flight from, Ukraine during WW II. She was so upset when Russia went to war against Ukraine last year, sharing photos and memories of the region she lived in. What a life she led! It was a privilege to know her.

We met Nelly at Little Church on the Prairie, and instantly liked her. She was sweet, generous, and had such an interesting life story. I'm so sorry we cannot share more of her time here on Earth. May God comfort you, her family! God bless!
