Karen "K,C" Nordberg Grimes, 71 of Lakewood passed away on Sept 29,2020. Sadly, her family was not able to be by her side due to co-vid restrictions. She was born on Oct.7.1948 in Sommerville, NJ to the late George and Janet Nordb Read Obituary
She was such a kind and sweet person ... Every Thanksgiving I make a green bean casserole dish and it’s a recipe that she taught me back in the 90’s. Everyone always looks forward to having that dish and I think about you every time I make it.

Karen and I hung out all the time. She was always so thoughtful. She would cook and we would eat together. I especially liked her brownies with marshmallows on top. She was a very good cook. I miss my friend very much.
Karen Grimes was a dear and true friend. She was my close friend and I cherished that friendship. I miss her friendship and companionship. She is truly missed. I love you Karen.
I have More Mom memories with KC then with my own. She taught me how to peel potatoes with a real knife. Not sure if that was because everyone was smarter than me and didn't want to peel potatoes so she had a helper. But it was the least I could since I was there 6 our of 7 dinners.

I have no memories of Karen. I did not know her as a person. But, I do know by knowing Kelli, of what a great mom that she must of been! I send prayer's that Karen rests in peace, and added prayers of comfort to her family and this time of great loss! God Bless.
