Dad,
Yesterday was the big 51! It's hard to believe it's been so long since you've been gone. It feels just like yesterday we were in the kitchen eating chicken and cake and cracking jokes. Your grandbabies are growing up so fast and a lot has happened. I wish they had a chance to receive your love and you, theirs but you and your love will forever live through me. You are missed dearly. Until we meet again, continue to walk with me.

To all that knew James"JT"Turner and those who didn't, he was a wonderful and trustworthy friend. We have known JT for about 25 years the last 10 years we become very tight. He was like family to us, for me he was my brother from another mother. Everytime I had to leave my family due to military missions I knew he would always be there sending me e-mails and checking on my family. We loved sharing music and watching football. He loved to socialize, sing and rap, dance and party. He definitely loved his family and kids, he would tell you that in a heart beat. His mother was his life and he showed it. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. Until we meet again R.I.P.##imported-begin##Robert/Katherine Smith##imported-end##

It is hard to believe this is reality. Who am I going to talk to now when I can't sleep? You were a night owl just like me. We have known each other for a long time. You will always be loved and in my heart forever. My love and prayers go to your family, especially your mom who is going through so much. I will always miss you. J.T. was a very dear friend, He touched my family in a special way. His heart was so big, and He was full of life. He loved his family very deeply, especially his mom. We would talk alot, when I needed a shoulder to cry on he was always there, When he needed someone to talk to I was there for him. He had so much love in his heart and enjoyed life to the fullest, when I needed a laugh, smile or anything in between, he was there. He will always be in our hearts and mind and we will love him forever.##imported-begin##Felicia McKinney##imported-end##
JT, You will be missed but not forgotten, I will remember all the football games we played growing up on the eastside, the prom (not ours) and the limo we had, the times we hung out and just chilled. My heart is heavey with the memories and my thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Much Love##imported-begin##Curtis Gilman##imported-end##
Our condolances go out to Jamie's family. We could never begin to realize the magnitude of your loss. Jamie was one of the best friends that Derrick had ever had and he will be missed by us all. We only wish that our daughter had the chance to get to know Jamie the way we did. She would have loved him just as much as we did. We wish you all the best and again, we are sorry for your loss.##imported-begin##The Hardison Family##imported-end##
I will always remember Jamie as a friend who could make anyone laugh in any situation. Late nights eating Marvin's barbecue, rappin at parties, the "Popeye" tapes, and all the rest of the good times on J street is what I'll always remember about him. That was my brother from another mother and I'll miss him.##imported-begin##Derrick L. Hardison##imported-end##
