Several years ago, after having been a customer of Pete's Volkswagen dealership, I had the pleasure of becoming an employee. Those were good times for me and even though I moved on to other positions after the dealership was closed, I never had as pleasant an experience in the industry again. That made me value the couple of years I was there all the more. Pete has such a great gentleman and a caring employer One of those few people in life that everyone he encountered had good words to say about him. They just don't make enough guys like that. He will be missed but, should also be rejoiced for the wonderfully person he was. That is the kind of legacy we should all depart this mortal life with. I was born when Pete Lovely was racing. While I was growing up my step dad would tell me stories of how he use to work as part of Pete Lovely's race crew and pit crew. This took place before Pete Lovely Volkswagen in Fife was opened. When Pete moved to Fife my step dad moved on to the Boeing Company. Many years later I came to work at Pete Lovely Volkswagen in 1988. I enjoyed working at the dealership and meeting Pete Lovely. I will always remember meeting Pete and working at his dealership. Good times will always remain in our hearts and so will Pete. I would like to extend my condolences to the family and God bless.##imported-begin##Glen Whitbeck##imported-end##
