Mountain View is participating with the Tacoma Fire Department’s 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony to be held Thursday September 11, 2014 at the Tacoma water front firefighters memorial located at 3301 Ruston Way, time to be determined. The public is welcome to join together and honor the heroes and victims of 9/11 as the nation keeps its solemn vow that “We have not forgotten”.

15th Annual “NNO”National Night Out Against Crime with the City of FircrestTuesday, August 05, 2014 : 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
On Tuesday August 5th from 6pm - 9pm, Mountain View was invited to participate in the 15th Annual “NNO”National Night Out Against Crime with the City of Fircrest. We will provide a ceremonial dove release to kick off the evening and provide literature information about service and product offerings available from Mountain View. This is an event for the whole family to attend and enjoy. Please join the Fircrest Police Department at the city park for an array of emergency vehicles on display, free rides, giveaways, rides, balloons and more. The evening concludes with a traditional fireworks show.
